If you are unsure if a tutorial would be too advanced for your skills, we recommend that you watch through it at least once to gauge your comfort level. Otherwise, here are some loose guidelines:
Beginner - May be unsure of knife skills or how to properly cut ingredients. Lack knowledge of ingredient names and preparations. Have never taken a cooking class. Do not cook at home often. Know how to make few basic dishes, if any.
Intermediate - Feel okay holding a knife and chopping ingredients. Are familiar with kitchen tools. Can follow a recipe. May have taken a one-off cooking class or two. Cook at home a couple times a week.
Advanced - Feel extremely comfortable in the kitchen using tools, knives, and various ingredients. Have mastered basic cooking techniques. Can easily follow a recipe and even improvise. Interested in experimenting with different ingredients and techniques.
